    • Beginner lesson 7:00 - 8:00pm
    • Social dance to recorded music 8:00 - 10:00pm.
    • We play a variety of styles, including waltz, foxtrot, tango, quickstep, Viennese waltz, cha-cha, rumba, east coast swing, west coast swing, bolero, samba, salsa, and hustle.
       
    • No partner required.

    • Pay at the door.  (USA Dance members: $8, Students: $6, All others: $12)
      Cash preferred.
  • January 3rd, 7:00pm - 10:00pm 5 Seasons Swing: Monthly Dance
    cherry building, 329 10th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401
    Join 5 Seasons Swing at the Cherry Building (329 10th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids) for a beginner lesson at 7pm and a social dance from 8 - 10pm. $10 / person (cash or Venmo accepted). No experience is necessary, and no partner is required.

    Fun, frivolity, games, music, dancing...it's the complete package!! Hope to see you there.

    Public Space One (South), 538 S Gilbert St, Iowa City, IA 52240
    No experience or partner required to join! This class will teach you the basic 6-count and 8-count patterns as well as fundamentals of connection and footwork. We will also cover dance etiquette and how to groove with your partner! $10 flat fee, or $5 if it's your first time joining us.

    There will be Salsa practice this Wednesday January 14, 2026 from 7:00p - 9:00p at The Artifactory - 120 N. Dubuque St. Iowa City, IA 52245. Practice is open to all interested in learning Latin Dance. Small donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of rental of space. Masks are optional. Beginners are encouraged to come at 7:00pm as the beginner movements are done in the first hour.

    The Green House, 505 E Washington St, Iowa City, IA 52240
    Meet us for a drink and a spin around the dance floor. Come to enjoy a relaxed evening of dance, drinks, and connecting with friends. We will DJ music to dance lindy hop and other swing dances. All (safe & respectful) dance moves are welcome.

    A beginner swing lesson will be taught at 7pm, followed by the social dance at 7:30. No partner or experience required.

    There is no charge for this event. Please plan to purchase drinks from our generous host and tip well!
